Born and brought up in the divine Valley of Kashmir, where he grew up under shade of Chinar trees. He tried to meddle with science, engineering but none was able to sustain his creative instincts, and finally he pursued fashion.

Quintessential (BOUN) Chinar had always inspired him as it has fuelled lot of Poetic imagination, the name BOUNIPUN (chinar leaf) with its ever changing colors had left an indelible impression on him way back in 90’s and was finally adopted in 2005 when the label “BOUNIPUN by ZUBAIR KIRMANI” was launched.

FERAUD Spring Summer 2007 Collection

FERAUD

Spring Summer 2007 Collection

Women

This season Féraud has imagined the dressing of a woman travelling from Biarritz to Monte-Carlo. In Biarritz, blows a light sea wind: a collection with a sport chic spirit flying around regattas and tennis, golf and polo with a “retro” touch declined in navy, white, yellow and red; an invitation to a nautical club where the code of sport and marine are revisited. Masculine jackets with an anatomical cut mix sophistication and casual spirit and play contrasts. This summer the silhouettes create the surprise: the mixture of fabrics (linen, cotton, silk or cold wool), the juxtaposition of patterns (asymmetrical stripes, patchwork of stripes) or the arrival of new volumes (wide trousers with a high waist). Féraud has thought an absolutely feminin allure: dresses, skirts, underskirts, tight fit tops, with English embroidery ton on ton details, floral macro-patterns or graphical and geometrical pictures. In Saint-Tropez, Féraud fixed up a casual environment, fresh and colonial with ultra-feminin and flowing tops, for an Amazonian woman in safari. This adventurer, in a revisited uniform with khaki, brown, beige and orange colors meets wild animals in a luxuriant jungle: the “animal skin“ and “foliage” patterns glow on short and long skirt, on silk jersey skirts and tops, light cotton and silk mousseline. A new soldier in metallic faced linen, camouflaged under a light printed cotton blouson “croco” or a satiny safari jacket. In Monte-Carlo, of day like night, the Féraud woman arrays a contemporary couture, like glamour’s suggestion. In white, gold and fuschia, the smoking jackets are coordinated with the flowing dresses and abound of details: jewellery buttons reverse in satin, adjusted size. Couture dresses in jacquard or in golden jersey are brightening together with light dresses in printed silk mousseline “garden’s flowers” and announce a full of sun Summer .

Men

Since 1991, Baümler AG Company has developed and has distributed the Féraud Homme Collection. The collections are represented in more than fourty countries and contribute to the success of the brand. Féraud Homme Collections are divided into two lines: The Ivory label offers a rich variety of garments, from casual to formal. Suits, trousers, jackets, parkas, leather jackets and woollen coats combine comfort and high quality fabrics. The Red label, more “fashion”, has been developed for a young man. It offers a wide range of contemporary and tight-fitting products. The suit is more casual, thus the jacket can be worn with more unexpected combination of clothes, which is the very idea of Louis Féraud. These two lines offer to the Féraud man a wide wardrobe, which combinesaesthetical appealing and high quality in a matter of comfort.

Spring Summer 2007 Collection

This collection has been created around two themes and two colours range that can be mixed together as opposition or as touch. Aquarelle: Different whites and high light colours, very soft, pastel dyed and sophisticated, often in association with the unmovable navy blue, the colour of the sea. Boheme: Stately tones, very meridional and warm, completely non conventional, often mixed with the summer off-white. To be perfectly clear between the different book trends families, the Ivory line has been realized around the "Aquarelle" theme and the Red line around the "Boheme" one. In the mean time, the two lines can be played with the complete colours card of the two themes: Ivory label: White, cream, mother of pearl grey, sand in association with navy. The ivory line has been created for new boats’ capitains: jacket and costumes and also, a luxurious casual part inspired of yachtman style. Red label: Charcoal, dark brown, khaki, lees of wine in association with white and denim, especially for fitted suits dissociated and often wear with denim pants. This look really “urban dandy” or “beach wear” for full summer, improves definitely this Red line.
