Walter van Beirendonck @ B&B Design Exhibition
This season’s B&B Design exhibition proudly presents the results of its anew cooperation with the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts: “The denim skirt; novel interpretations of a contemporary classic” showcases the works of selected first-year students. For the first time, denim is the fabric of choice – sponsored by TRC Candiani!



Note: On Wednesday 21, 3 p.m., Creative Director Walter van Beirendonck will be available at the exhibition for interviews concerning this special design project!

Just say Wizz
Mr. van Beirendonck will also personally be presenting his new shoe brand W6YZ by Falc. Whether it’s playful footprints, acrobatic shapes or a shoe named "Crocowoolf" – this collection brightly reflects the characteristical graphics and vivid color combinations of the famous Belgian fashion designer!

A snowboard journey to Andorra – Protest To Get There!

“Denim Based” brand GAS is welcoming motorcycle racer and triple world champion Dani Pedrosa at its stand at BBBarcelona! Meet the racing driver and GAS image of 2009, as he will grant interviews, sign autographs and participate in a photograph shooting dressing the garments of the new collection autumn/winter 2009/2010. Vernissage CREATIVE R’EVOLUTION – 50 Years of Fluxus from the Archivio Bonotto
The extraordinary art exhibition presents more than 150 Fluxus objects from the Archivio Bonotto, among them major works of this revolutionary art movement. Renowned High Fashion weaver Luigi Bonotto personally curated the exhibition, and Fluxus artist Ben Vautier created an exclusive installation for BBBarcelona. The vernissage will be opened by Karl-Heinz Müller and Luigi Bonotto, and features life performances by Ben Vautier, Ben Patterson and Philip Corner.

ESMOD Collection of Hope
For the second time, students from the international fashion school ESMOD Germany Berlin Munich will be showing at BBBarcelona that ecological awareness, social engagement and fashion do not oppose each other. Working with pure ecological materials, they have created a truly fashionable collection in the best terms of fair trade and social responsibility. The net profit will be donated to a good cause – items can be purchased also in the Fetish shop at Luna Park.

Urban Picnic
Hell’s Kitchen, Italian eco-design 100% chic recycle, invites all B&B visitors to their Urban Picnic! The ingredients for this bread and butter breakfast are simple: a pinch of madness, recycled inner-tubes, a scattering of chequered blankets and wicker baskets and, most important, the company of good people!
