Yesterday, the opening of the BREAD & BUTTER – tradeshow for selected brands and its return to Berlin were celebrated by 3,500 international exhibitors and trade visitors in the packed Columbiahalle in Berlin.The Governing Mayor of Berlin, Klaus Wowereit, in his opening speech: “Friends of BREAD & BUTTER, welcome to Berlin! It’s wonderful – after a few years in Barcelona, you’re back in Berlin! We are sure that BBB will be a great success in Tempelhof! It’s going to be a blast! We’re glad you’re back!”The evening’s big highlight was the one-hour performance by Mando Diao, which set the B&B Community in high spirits. The Columbiahalle was sizzling when the Swedes played their worldwide hit “Dance With Somebody”.Karl-Heinz Müller, Managing Director of BREAD & BUTTER: “That was a very big evening, pure rock’n’roll in the BREAD & BUTTER style! The Mando Diao guys played a sensational concert, our international guests were thrilled.
