Kimaya’s Bridal Fashion Extravaganza @Bangalore

Being the anchor brand in south India’s only luxury mall, The Collection – UB City, KIMAYA brought together couture and the true flavor of Indian weddings and created an opulent and larger than life experiential fashion extravaganza in the mall.

The start of the Trousseau week at the mall saw a bridal exposition with an elaborate fashion show on the 3rd of September, 2010 where Kimaya will showcased 2 different collections one of Neeta Lulla and the other from the best of Kimaya’s designers.

Launching Neeta Lulla to Kimaya’s extensive designer portfolio of over 147 craftsmen with her exquisite bridal collection is what the city definitely looked forward to.

Celebrating the essence of Indian weddings with a dash of modernity and glamour, KIMAYA’s finale show is sure to re-invent the idea of an India wedding.

Having commissioned some of the country’s finest couturiers like Gaurav Gupta, Tarun Tahiliani, Anamika Khanna, Rohit Bal,Shantanu & Nikhil, Ekta Singh, Rocky S and Harpreet Narula the show will epitomize a unique heritage, styled in a modern way.”

The muti-designer boutique has a plethora on offer this wedding season and brings to you designs that are timeless and unique. The show had a splash of colour and a subtle play of drapes where luxury manifested itself beautifully in fine couture collections. Boasting of the elaborate designer portfolio the variety on display was enchanting and breathtaking - nostalgic for a few and an aspirational for the rest.

Exquisitely crafted anarkali kurtas and choli with a kalidar lehengas put together with smart western jackets giving it a modern look as well as a more traditional range of silhouettes, with elements of gota, and zardozi, interspersed with crystal, appliqué and mirrors is what KIMAYA has on offer for this wedding season .

The highlight of the show was elaborate and dramatic head gears to go with each garment. There were vibrant feathers in fuchsia pink, orange, red and green. Each designed exclusively for the show was unique, with beads and embellishments. The show was definitely one of the best that Bangalore witnessed.

The Bridal Couture Collection will be available at its KIMAYA store in UB City.

Brainchild of the husband-wife duo, Pradeep and Neha Hirani literally meaning “magic” in Pushtu, Kimaya's magic has sprinkled its charm on fashionista’s, who love to indulge in the finest fashion.
